Women in the Digital World - Safety and Empowerment

To mark Gender Equality Week 9-15 December, the European Parliament Liaison Office is very pleased to host an event discussing the safety and empowerment of women in the digital world.

Our speakers have a wide range of experience and expertise, and the discussion will encompass issues such as gender aspects of the EU's Digital Strategy, online security for women and girls - real-life experiences and practical lessons, how digital tech can empower women and girls, and what the evidence tells us about preventing cyber bullying amongst women and girls.

The event will take place in Europe House on 13 December 2024 from 12:00 to 13:00 followed by a light lunch.
