Reflections on Ireland’s place in a changing Europe.

Fintan O’Toole is Ireland’s best-known journalist, with a weekly column in the Irish Times, and regular contributions to international publications, notably the New York Review of Books. He is also the distinguished author of many books, including We Don’t Know Ourselves, a scintillating overview of the second half of the 20th century in Ireland, and recently, with Sam McBride, For and Against a United Ireland.  He is currently working on a biography of Seamus Heaney. As Ireland prepares to assume the EU Presidency at a time of unprecedented global challenges, he will share his reflections on where it might all be leading.
