The Embassy of the Republic of Poland, in association with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland, will organize a seminar titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing in the Contemporary Economy and Politics of the EU” on March 4, at Europe House, 5 Balfe Street. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of modern technologies in the European economy. The European Union has significant industrial, human, and scientific potential in the field of AI and quantum computing. Poland and Ireland are at the forefront of IT development in Europe. Will Europe be able to keep up with the pace of global development in this field? Are we ready to undertake the necessary legal and political reforms to accelerate technological progress in the EU?

These issues will be discussed during the seminar, which will gather guests from Dáil Éireann, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international businesses (among others, Google), Irish and Polish start-ups, and the scientific community.
