EU Careers with Languages - October 2026 events

The European Parliament Translation Service is coming to Ireland in October 2026!

Join us in Dublin, Galway or Cork to discover EU careers with languages and traineeships at the European Parliament.
Meet the Director-General for Translation and Heads of Unit, participate in hands-on workshops in English and Irish translation and Clear Language and find out where your language skills can take you.

The events will focus on EU career opportunities for students and language professionals with English or Irish as main language, who also speak other European languages. In-person participants will have the opportunity to try out translation and get feedback from language professionals working at the European Parliament. 

With 24 official languages, the European Parliament is the most multilingual Parliament in the world. The Directorate-General for Translation and Clear Language (DG TRAD) employs around 1 100 staff, among them more than 600 translators, making it one of the biggest employers of its kind.

Language careers at the European Parliament are open to graduates of all disciplines.
