Eurobug Spectrum Chat are Irish winners of the Charlemagne Youth Prize

Eurobug Spectrum Chat Podcast, is a resource for all those wishing to participate in one of the EU's most successful programmes, Erasmus+.

Fionnuala Croker, Head of the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland said:

"Eurobug Spectrum Chat is an excellent podcast and highly recommended listening for all those thinking about doing Erasmus+. The project embodies the spirit of the Charlemagne Youth Prize, which encourages a pan-European experience and understanding. The European Parliament Liaison Office in Dublin wishes them the best of luck at the award ceremony in Aachen in May."

The Jury consisted of Barry Andrews MEP; Deirdre Clune MEP and Jean-Marie Cullen, International officer at the National Youth Council of Ireland.

The Charlemagne Youth Prize is organised jointly by the European Parliament and the International Charlemagne Prize Foundation in Aachen and awarded each year for projects run by people aged between 16 and 30.

The Prize is awarded to projects which:

•    promote European and international understanding,
•    foster the development of a shared sense of European identity and integration,
•    serve as a role model for young people living in Europe and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.

The first prize is €7,500, second prize €5,000 and third prize €2,500. Representatives of all 27 national winning projects will be invited to the award ceremony on 7 May 2024 in Aachen, Germany.
